A father introduces his deaf son to the beauty of Yosemite National Park in a Lance Acord's new ad for Subaru that advocates for expanding access to national parks.
The spot, called “A Beautiful Silence,” from Carmichael Lynch, stars 10-year-old, Emmy-nominated deaf actor Keivonn Woodard, who is shown in the back of a 2023 Subaru Forester Wilderness communicating with his dad in American Sign Language. The boy suspects they are lost as the terrain gets more rough, but it turns out his dad is taking him to a roaring waterfall in Yosemite.
