Jon Watts
Jon Watts is an American filmmaker known for directing Cop Car, the MCU's Spider-Man Trilogy, and FX’s The Old Man.
Born and raised in Fountain Colorado, Watts is a graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of Arts. Watts has directed music videos for artists such as Fatboy Slim, The Rapture and TV On The Radio, as well as commercial campaigns for clients like ESPN, Sprite and Metlife.
His next projects are the upcoming Disney+ show Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, an adventure following a group of kids lost in the galaxy trying to find their way home and Wolfs, a thriller written, directed and produced by Watts for Apple TV+. It stars Brad Pitt and George Clooney as two lone-wolf fixers assigned to the same job.
