JAKE SCHREIER

 

A graduate from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and a founding member of the Brooklyn-based filmmaking collective Waverly Films, Jake Schreier began his career making short films and music videos. Jake signed with Park Pictures in 2006 and has appeared on “Best New Directors” lists for Creativity, Shots, Boards, and Shoot magazines. He’s partnered with top agencies like mcgarrybowen, TBWA and Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, and has helmed campaigns for clients like Absolut, Comcast, Playstation, EA Sports and Verizon, among many others. Jake has also directed a number of music videos for acts like My Morning Jacket and Francis and the Lights.

Jake recently completed his feature directorial debut, ROBOT & FRANK, which stars Frank Langella, Susan Sarandon, James Marsden, Liv Tyler, and Peter Sarsgaard. It is the first movie from Park Pictures’ newly formed feature division, Park Pictures Film Partners, and will be premiering at the Sundance Film Festival in January 2012.
Jake is also a founding member of the Brooklyn based filmmaking collective Waverly Films, whose exploding YouTube popularity has earned the group directing gigs for MTV Gamer’s Week, and a pilot deal with Comedy Central.
